Fingerprinting and Background Checks

Available Services

Fingerprinting services are available to all Augusta University Faculty, Staff, and Students at no cost.

You must bring the following:

• A Fingerprint Card (must be an official fingerprint card,NOTprinted on standard paper). Normally obtained from the requester of the fingerprints.
• A current Augusta University Identification Card. (must have physical card present)
• A valid form of government identification (ex. Drivers License, Passport, State Issued Identification Card.)

Background check services are available only to current Augusta University students, at no cost.

For background check services please print and fill out theAU Student Background Check Consent Formand drop it off at AU Police Dispatch located in the Annex II building (HT), at524 15th Street Augusta, GA, for processing. You can drop off the form at any time. Your background check should be ready for pickup after two business days, at AU Police Dispatch, with the exception of weekends and holidays. You may call(706) 721-2911to see if your form is ready for pickup or we can notify you by e-mail.
