TheChemical Safety Officekeeps an extensiveSafety Data Sheet (SDS)inventory.Under federal and state law, Safety Data Sheets must be made available for all chemicals used or stored at Augusta University. The Chemical Safety Office maintains a hard copy file for all chemicals on campusand will assist in the acquisition of those we do not have. If you are unable to locate a particular Safety Data Sheet (SDS), contact us at (706)-721-2663.

The Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), known as theRight-to-KnowLaw, is enforced byOccupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).The standard requires chemical manufacturers to provide SDS for all of their chemicals and information detailing hazards associated with specific chemicals and chemical mixtures.
