The Middle School Jazz Band is open 6th-8th graders who have had at least one year of band or private lessons experience and will include the following instruments: piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium/baritone, tuba, drums, percussion, guitar, and bass.
The Middle School Jazz Band rehearses on Saturday mornings from 9:00am-11:00am in the Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Center on the Summerville Campus of Augusta University.

*Please note that in order to participate, attendance is mandatory for all of the rehearsals and the performance. Conflicts with your school band (such as district or all-state band) are excused.
Fee: $100 per semester
This ensemble is open to 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade brass, woodwind, and percussion players who have had at least one year of instrumental band experience or at least one year of private lessons. The ensemble performs one concert at the end of the semester.
Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:00 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.
