The Department of Family and Community Medicine Conference Center is the hub of the Family and Community Medicine conference network. Lectures and multimedia presentations can be streamed live to 1,000 participants on desktop and mobile devices. Interactive meetings can occur with up to six remote teaching facilities simultaneously; expandable to twenty-five sites via a campus bridge. All teaching activities can be recorded and catalogued by keyword for later viewing. The Conference Center features anADAAmericans with Disabilities Actcompliant lectern with full room control—display sources, teleconference control, lighting, and audio—using a custom designed touchpanel.
