David Pashley Distinguished Lecture Series

  • Duration: 45 minutes
  • Focus: Research and Case Presentations
  • Description: This lecture will primarily focus on research, acquainting attendees with the current scope of dentistry. The selected speaker will address their specific area of research and clinical expertise, providing a summary of past achievements that have led to today’s knowledge in a specific field. They will also highlight ongoing research and identify areas where further investigation is needed to solve remaining clinical problems. The speaker will discuss their research, publications, and evidence-based applications to dentistry, emphasizing innovation.

Continuing Education Event

“You Asked... We Listened” Evidence-Based Lecture

  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Focus: Practical and Clinical Relevance
  • Description: This lecture will be extremely clinically relevant, featuring numerous illustrations and case presentations, and will focus on the needs of clinicians. However, students are encouraged to attend. The presentation will address the application of evidence-based information to clinical dentistry, providing actionable insights that clinicians can implement immediately. The speaker will conduct an in-depth exploration of their area of expertise, offering significant background information to ensure attendees grasp important fundamentals. Step-by-step guidance on managing difficult but commonly encountered clinical situations will be provided to help attendees understand how to successfully diagnose underlying issues and provide optimal approaches for clinical success.
