Why Perform Spatial Profiling?

Spatially resolved profiling of tissues was described inNature Methods’ in 2021.Spatial profilingallows for in-depth phenotypic analysis by mapping both protein and RNA profiles to their exact locations within tissue samples. This approach is particularly valuable when studying processes that are unevenly distributed across the tissue, such as patchy disease involvement. Recent technological advancements have significantly improved resolution, enabling profiling down to the single-cell level.

Platforms

Our currently has two different platforms that enable spatially resolved profiling. These are theVisium– 10X Genomicsand theCosMxSpatial Molecular Imager (CosMxSMI) –Nanostring. More information below.
