Bio

Sourav Kumar Mukhopadhyay is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer & Cyber Sciences, Augusta University. Before joining Augusta University, he has worked as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University and Concordia University in Canada. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics in 2015 from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India.

His area of research includes biomedical signal processing, application of machine learning, artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques in monitoring vital signs as well as early diagnosis of physiological anomalies. His long-term professional goal is to continue to extend the boundaries of biomedical signal processing, in association with industries and clinicians, towards creating innovative and applicable solutions for the healthcare industry.
