All positions are offered throughERAS®in compliance withACGMErules and regulations.
We offer 11 PGY1 categorical positions and one R spot each match cycle. Residents are selected through theNRMP.

Augusta University accepts those with aJ-1 visaorPermanent Residentstatus. We do not sponsor H-1 or J-2 visas.
Prospective candidates must be eligible for J-1 Sponsorship by theEducational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, or possess a valid US Permanent Resident Card, or validEmployment Authorization Document. All international medical graduates must also hold a currently valid certificate from the ECFMG.
